TwentySix Cafe

I loved the chill vibe of this coffee shop! They have a covered outdoor area in the front (you can bring your dog there) and there is an open area in the back too (you can’t bring your dog there). They had some creative coffee drinks too. I tried the hazelnut latte and loved it!!

Stopped by here today for a Sunday breakfast, TwentySix Cafe is great! They’re currently set up as patio seating only and have a really nice set up in front of the cafe that spans a few storefronts. A lot of effort has clearly been put into the seating area, complete with varied table options and sections that offer different amounts of coverage from the sun. The patio is also covered, making this a great place to stop by rain or shine. We ordered through the doorway of the cafe (which is now operating as the counter) where a nice assortment of baked goods were on display. The cafe was busy but not overwhelmingly so, creating a lively but relaxed atmosphere- this is clearly a well loved spot in the neighborhood. We ordered some bagels (one with Lox and the other just cream cheese) and iced coffees. The bagel selection was solid and the bagels themselves were a great mix of crunch exterior and soft, chewy interior. The bagels were also very well stuffed (sometimes cafes can really skimp on the fillings, which is not the case at TwentySix Cafe) and the coffees were also very tasty. We were served by Naomi who was very friendly and helpful; as more customers lined up and placed orders she had the task of juggling taking orders and passing out the finished food- Naomi did this incredibly efficiently and made it look quite easy. I would definitely suggest this spot to anyone coming through the neighbourhood. While you’re here make sure to walk by the wishing tree (a block north and on the opposite side of the street to the cafe) and continue on to the nearby Irving Park- a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.

Super cozy coffee shop. Service was great. The bagel was smackin and the coffee was delicious. Been back a couple times since and enjoy being here each time

This is a charming cafe with a very friendly staff. I tried their orange cardamom? oat milk latte, and now I’m obsessed with that flavor

The back patio is pretty and nicely shaded. I got an avocado toast and the seasonal matcha lemonade. Both were delicious, the service was fast and the barista was really friendly. Highly recommend.

Really cute back patio! The server was so so nice and thoughtful. Without promoting she gave us 2 sets of utensils to share a burrito. I just felt like she was super helpful. The coffee had free refills too! Soy chorizo breakfast burrito - loved the salsa - was super warm and delicious - flavorful Lox - I absolutely loved this - i sometimes don't enjoy capers and this didn't have it - the salmon was high quality and not fishy or overly smokey - generous amount of cream cheese
